블루스얼라이브 1회부터 함께해왔고, 한국에 애착을 가지고 블루스를 전해온 Dexter Santos와 아주 오랜만에 한국을 다시 방문하는 댄서 Heidi Fite 입니다.
블루스의 대표적인 라인으로 회자하는 Hound dog의 원작자 Dexter는, 신사적이고 달콤한 소셜로도 유명하지만, 특히 멋진 춤 선이 매력적인 댄서로 많은 리더 팬을 거느리고 자극을 주는 선생님입니다. Damon Stone과 10년 이상의 콜라보와 파트너를 하기도 했던 Heidi는 미국 최초의 전국 규모의 워크숍인 Cheep thrills의 설립자입니다. 후에 이것이 발전해 미국에서 가장 큰 블루스 대회이자 많은 블루스 댄서가 동경하는 행사 bluesSHOUT!이 됐습니다. 한국에서도 오래전부터 블루스를 배워온 댄서들에게 다시 보고 싶은 댄서 & 강사를 물었을 때 여전히 상위권에서 언급되는 그녀, 드디어 모셨습니다.

Meet the instructors for Blues Alive 2026 @ SEOUL, Part #3
Dexter Santos, who has been with Blues Alive since our very beginning, spreading the blues with his deep affection for Korea. And we welcome the return of the dancer Heidi Fait after a long absence.
Dexter, the creator of the renowned choreography “Hound Dog” – often called the “Shimsham” of the blues – is famous for his gentle and sweet social dancing. Above all, he is a captivating dancer, boasting glamorous dance lines, and serves as an inspirational and motivating teacher to countless lead fans. Heidi, who has collaborated and partnered with Damon Stone for over a decade, is the founder of America's first national workshop, “Cheep Thrills.” This workshop later evolved into “bluesSHOUT!”, now America's largest blues competition and an event countless blues dancers dream of attending. When long-standing Korean blues dancers were asked which dancer and instructor they most wished to see again, she consistently ranked among the highest. We are absolutely delighted to finally welcome her back to Korea.
