2022년 미국 테네시주 멤피스에서 열린 꿈의 무대, 세계 블루스 대회(International Blues Challenge)에서 밴드 부문 최종 5팀에 한국 팀으론 최초로 선정되어 이제는 세계 각지에서 블루스를 연주하며 승승장구하는 팀!
그들의 맛깔나고 쫀득한, 그루브 넘치는 연주는 듣는 사람의 눈과 귀와 온 몸을 전율하게 만들어, 절로 박자를 타며 춤을 추고 싶게 만듭니다.

The band that made history by becoming the first Korean team ever selected as one of the final five bands at the International Blues Challenge—the dream stage held in Memphis, Tennessee, USA in 2022—and is now triumphantly playing the blues all over the world!
Their savory, sticky, groove-filled performances make listeners' eyes, ears, and entire bodies tremble, compelling them to instinctively tap their feet and dance.
Now, they fully understand what dancers want and what music they crave to dance to, playing music tailored to those desires. They are an indispensable blues band in Korea.

Takuto와 홋카이도 친구들이 재즈 블루스 밴드로 옵니다!
홋카이도 삿포로시에 거주하는 기타리스트, 작곡가.
15세 때 영화 'Blues Brothers'의 영향을 받아 기타를 시작했다.
미국의 피아니스트 Ben Levin의 서포트로 2023년 Cincinnati Blues Festival, King Biscuit Festival(Memphis), 2024년 Indiana Blues Festival에서 공연. 그리고 Candice Ivory의 서포트로 2023년 King Biscuit Festival, Lil' Jimmy Reed & Ben Levin의 서포트로 Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival(New Orleans)에서 공연.
이번에는 자신이 소속된 밴드 <Abucon>의 Satsuki (Vocal), Hiiro Kanazawa (Trumpet), Genta Koitabashi (Piano), Asahi Abe (Bass), and Sota Sakai (Drums)와 함께 재즈 블루스를 선사한다.
Takuto Asano is coming this year with his jazz blues band!
Takuto is a guitarist and composer living in Sapporo, Hokkaido. He started playing guitar at the age of 15, influenced by the movie “Blues Brothers”.
Performed at the Cincinnati Blues Festival in 2023, King Biscuit Festival (Memphis), and Indiana Blues Festival in 2024 with the support of American pianist Ben Levin. He performed at the King Biscuit Festival in 2023 as a support act for Candice Ivory, and at the Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival (New Orleans) as a support act for Lil' Jimmy Reed & Ben Levin.
This time, he will be performing jazz blues with his band Abucon with Satsuki (Vocal), Hiiro Kanazawa (Trumpet), Genta Koitabashi (Piano), Asahi Abe (Bass), and Sota Sakai (Drums).

이인규는 국내 최정상의 블루스 뮤지션들 사이에서도 특히 뛰어난 연주력과 표현력으로 씬을 대표하는 뮤지션으로 자리잡은 한국 대표 블루스 뮤지션입니다.
‘마인드바디앤소울’ 로 데뷔한 이래 국내의 크고 작은 블루스페스티벌 무대에 빠짐없이 참여했고, 현재 이인규블루스밴드의 리더, 최항석과부기몬스터의 기타리스트로 활동하고 있습니다.
특히 멤피스에서 매년 개최되는 세계 블루스 대회격의 ‘2023 International Blues Challenge’ 에서 미국과 전 세계의 약 200개 팀과 경쟁해 준결승에 진출하는 쾌거를 이루었습니다.
Lee In-kyu is Korea's premier blues musician, recognized as a leading figure in the scene for his exceptional playing ability and expressiveness, even among the nation's top blues artists.
Since his debut with ‘Mind Body & Soul’, he has consistently performed at major and minor blues festivals across Korea. He currently serves as the leader of the Lee In-kyu Blues Band and as guitarist for Choi Hang-seok and the Boogie Monster.
Notably, he achieved the remarkable feat of advancing to the semifinals at the ‘2023 International Blues Challenge’—a world-class blues competition held annually in Memphis—competing against approximately 200 teams from the United States and around the globe.

한국 블루스의 새로운 세대를 이끄는 신예 블루스 보컬, 정바다입니다.
강렬하고 소울풀한 목소리로 잊을 수 없는 무대를 선사하며, 개성 있는 표현력과 탁월한 무대 장악력으로 국내 블루스 씬에 깊은 인상을 남기고 있습니다.
정바다는 ‘2026 International Blues Challenge’ 국내 대표팀 선발에서 최종 공동 후보에 오르며 본격적인 도약의 발판을 마련하였습니다. 현재 블루스 밴드 Sugarspot의 보컬리스트로 활동하며, 전통 위에 젊은 에너지를 더해 한국 블루스 씬에 새로운 흐름을 만들어가고 있습니다.

Jeong Bada was selected as a final joint nominee for the Korean representative team at the 2026 International Blues Challenge, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey. She is currently the vocalist of the blues band Sugarspot, where she blends tradition with youthful energy, shaping a new and compelling direction in the Korean blues scene.
