THE HELD는 대만 댄서 12인의 합작품입니다. 이번 작품은 개인의 이야기가 아닌, 모두가 공유하는 상태에 집중하고 있습니다- 사회적 기대와 책임, 그리고 역할이라는 틀 안에 갇혀 꼼짝할 수 없는 사람들의 모습을요. 그 사람들은 무너지지도 않지만, 탈출할 수도 없습니다. 그저 끊임없는, 고요한 압박 속에서 묵묵히 서 있을 뿐이죠. 발언이 언제나 허락되지는 않는 사회 속에서, 우리의 몸은 진실을 품고 드러낼 수 있는 유일한 공간이 됩니다. 이 춤이 여기에 해결책을 제시해주진 않습니다. 그저 시선이 머물 수 있을 만큼 충분히 긴 한 순간을 붙잡아줄 뿐입니다. THE HELD is a collective work by twelve dancers from Taiwan. This piece does not focus on individual stories, but on a shared condition —people being held in place by social expectations, responsibilities, and roles. They do not collapse, yet they do not break free. They remain standing under a constant, quiet pressure. In a society where speaking is not always allowed, the body becomes the only space left to carry and reveal the truth. This dance does not offer a solution. It holds a moment — long enough to be seen.
